5.Глухі люди не дуже розумні або освічені, тому що вони не вчилися говорити або не користуються граматикою. -найперша мова, яку учать глухі – жестова і він більш їм звичний, а пізніше обов’язково вивчається і основна мова держави і граматика, а також вимова. Тільки користуватися мовою багато з них соромляться. Глухі нарівні з чуючими , і серед них також є генії і видатні особи.
6.Глухі люди ведуть абсолютно інший спосіб життя, який відрізняє їх від інших людей. -глухі люди відрізняються тільки однією річчю. Глухі можуть робити абсолютно все, окрім того, щоб чути.
7.Глухі розумово відсталі. -неправда. Немає ніякого зв’язку між інтелектом і здібністю чути. Пам’ятайте, глухий чи слабочуючий такий же нормальний як ви і я, є тільки одна річ, яку ми можемо зробити, а вони ні – повноцінно чути.
8.Жестова мова універсальна. -жестова мова не виключно універсальна мова, якою користуються глухі. Так як і чуючі люди в різних країнах говорять на різних мовах, глухі люди по всьому світі користуються різноманітними мовами жестів і вони всі відрізняються, навіть є багато жестів подібні.
9.Мова жестів – розмовна мова, передана жестами. -Мова жестів – не буквальний переклад для розмовної мови. Це значить, що глухі люди не перекладають слово в слово, щоб сформувати граматично правильні речення. Для них така мова неприродна. У них є базова жестова мова, яка викладається в спецшколах. Також існують неформальні жести, прийняті для вузького кола глухих або нові жести, які створюють самі ж глухі.
